-
Composition + pattern-making
-
Aari embroidery with the luneville crochet hook
-
Sewing
The main objective of the Program is to learn the dress-making process from ideas to ready-to-wear garments. The study proposes to practice the solo Aari embroidery technique with the use of delicate metal thread, rhinestones, bugles, and large stones on the girl's top of the dress.
After payment, you will receive a List with the passwords for 5 Lessons from the website, 4 printable Patterns, and access to the private YouTube playlist where all 10 tutorials were placed together (for easy viewing).
General Information
The Dress-making Course will be the best program if you have already experienced Luneville and Aari embroidery before and wish to start creating embroidered garments. Even if you do not have big experience in sewing, you are very welcome to enroll and try this course without the use of any sewing machine but with your hands and a needle only.
During this course, you will no longer feel confused and overwhelmed without knowing where to begin or where to find the right materials, but receive complete information about each item that will be used in the process of embroidery.
We will work in the Aari \ Indian method of embroidery with accessories, and use a large variety of embroidery tricks with the luneville crochet hook.
Lessons + Instructions
The Program comprises 5 high-quality pre-recorded video lessons, 4 patterns, and 10 tutorials with detailed information and directing lines on each step you should make. This will allow you to practice Aari embroidery techniques and sew professionally. As you already know how to mount an embroidery frame and how to work with the hook, we will skip these steps but practice Aari embroidery with various accessories, as well as exercise more complex methods of embroidery with the rhinestones.
There is no limit to time while you are mastering the course: you may access any lesson at any time without any restrictions. We understand that you may have your own schedule and will provide you with constant guidance and support from the comfort of your home.
Materials for embroidery
For the following course, we do not sell\send any materials (only an embroidery frame may be sent upon request). However, we will provide you with detailed information on what you may need to do in the course. All information about recommended online stores was tested by us and our students and is reliable.
The following materials will be used during the course:
-
large embroidery frame (60 * 60 cm) + set of hardware
-
ribbon, cut of organza fabric, delicate metal thread
-
luneville crochet hook with needle # 70
-

Additional Information
Normally, our students complete the Dress-Making Course within 3-4 weeks, however, this depends on many factors: materials' availability, personal skills, and time, devoted to each lesson. Yes, the biggest investment - is your time!
In the beginning, it may take a lot of hours and patience in order to set your hand and start 'feeling' the instrument. Please note, that this delicate method of embroidery may affect your eyes, so it is highly recommended to practice this type of embroidery during the day hours with a good source of light.
Upon successful completion of the course program, the certificate of completion with a personal recommendation letter will be issued.
